Role summary / Purpose

 

The Junior Well Log Analyst is responsible for data processing and well logs interpretation. This includes involvement in client interactions/discussions, the building of the logging plan, quality control of the data received from the field, processing of the data acquired, its interpretation and the generation of the delivery package with presentations to the customer. 

 

Essential Responsibilities

 

  • Handle the data loading, processing, interpretation, and report generation for the assigned job, in a timely manner. This is done with minimum guidance from the Team Leader and/or Domain Champion.

  • Perform proper archiving as per adopted rules and procedures of the raw, processed, and interpreted data, as well as the report and associated PPT presentation.

  • Provide LQC support to the field.

  • Generate logging programs with minimum guidance from the Team Leader and/or Domain Champion.

  • Communicate with clients about the job at hand, when needed. This should be coordinated and agreed with the Team Leader and/or Domain Champion.

  • Contribute to internal presentations and knowledge-sharing sessions

  • Contribute to external presentations to the customers and SPE

  • Exercise continuous and active efforts to learn about all TGT services.

  • Abide by all QHSE rules and regulations.

 

Qualification Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised institute or university, preferably in Physics, Geology, Geophysics, Data Science or Engineering.

  • 1+ years’ experience in processing and interpretation (cased hole services preferably).

  • Good analytical skills.

  • Good technical writing skills.

  • Proactivity and willingness to communicate with clients.
