Junior Logging Engineer

Role Summary

This position is responsible for assisting Wireline operators in performance operations at client job sites and providing the necessary skills and knowledge required in order to safely perform a variety of basic Wireline Logging services.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in job planning and preparation of tools and equipment, paperwork and documentation requirements.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of various Wireline functions including winch operation, depth control, tension, data acquisition and tool response.
  • Plan and prepare for well site operations; assures adherence to all safety regulations
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as required
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest technological changes and operating procedures pertaining to Company equipment, tools, and practices to insure maximum operating efficiency
  • Maintain customer relations by establishing a positive image and confidence in the quality of services and ensures the confidentiality of all logging operations
  • Maintain direct contact with customer’s representatives throughout the logging or operation; interpret common services in the assigned service area for customers
  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of TGT

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or other field related to the oil & gas industry
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in the oil industry.
  • Pass offshore/onshore medical.
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
