Business Development Manager

Role Summary

Working as part of a team and managing all business development activities in the assigned country. This includes developing the strategy for growth and sales positioning, forming strong personal relationships with client’s partners and other divisions of TGT Oilfield Services at all levels internally, within the TGT Group, and with external clients.

Specific targets revolve around General management, Business growth, Marketing & Sales in a specific geographic area, Contract negotiations, JV with other suppliers, New market entrance, recruiting and staff development.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in job planning and preparation of tools and equipment, paperwork and documentation requirements.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of various Wireline functions including winch operation, depth control, tension, data acquisition and tool response.
  • Plan and prepare for well site operations; assures adherence to all safety regulations
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as required
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest technological changes and operating procedures pertaining to Company equipment, tools, and practices to insure maximum operating efficiency
  • Maintain customer relations by establishing a positive image and confidence in the quality of services and ensures the confidentiality of all logging operations
  • Maintain direct contact with customer’s representatives throughout the logging or operation; interpret common services in the assigned service area for customers
  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of TGT

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must have over 10 years’ experience in the Oilfield with Wireline sector.
  • Must have 5 years in a management and sales role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institute or university, preferably in Math, Physics, Geology, Geophysics, or Engineering.
  • Excellent communication, coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take the initiative and work unsupervised.
  • Good interpersonal skills and presence.
  • Language skills are an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Good negotiation skills.
